I am a wife to a wonderfully patient and man. I am a mother to two beautiful girls that the Lord entrusted me with. And most importantly I am follower of Jesus, and I trust him as my personal Savior!
Voices 4 the Voiceless was born in the summer of 2011 after the birth and adoption of our first child, Katherine Grace. Soon after bringing her home, we felt the Lord was asking more of our family. We prayed desperately for the Lord to make our paths clear and to give us a life full of purpose. Being a wedding photographer and running a high demand photography business for 6 years – I didn’t feel like I was living out the purpose Christ called me to. I desired more than anything to be a mom, and to teach our daughters what a Proverbs 31 woman looked like. And while I’m still learning this myself, I believe God is shaping me to become this woman daily, while also teaching my daughters!
Knowing the statistics in the orphan population, 153 million and rising. My husband and I knew we were called to do more with our lives than simply adopt. These children are without a voice in this world. We believe that God has given us a voice and a mission to advocate on their behalf. While using the gifts he has given me, I can to create real-life, compelling images of these precious lives that we can share with the world around us. My prayer is that He continues to open doors for us to share about this burden in our hearts, these faces he puts in front of us and share with others the crisis around us! Our mission is to mobilize the body of Christ by educating them on the orphan crisis around the world. We also hope that by sharing with them, the Lord will stir in hearts to create a movement among believers to step up and help end this crisis!
I am married to my beautiful wife, Brantley and the proud daddy of our beautiful daughters, Katherine Grace & Annalise. I love the Lord and I love serving in Uganda, Africa with orphans! We strive to be more like Him, by serving, proclaiming His Word, and being the hands and feet of Jesus. My wife and I love doing ministry together and have enjoyed seeing Christ work in our lives over the past few years. He has given us a heart for fatherless and we thank God every day for giving us this burden to care for the fatherless.
