OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH:
We believe that the bible is the inspired, only infallible, written word of God.
All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe in one true personal God.
He is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. ~ Genesis 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. ~ John 1:1-3
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life in the flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again on the 3rd day, and ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father.
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end. ~ Luke 1:30-33
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory. We believe that salvation is freely given and obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. All who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be born again to eternal life and adopted as children of God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.~ Romans 3:23-25
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. ~ Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe that regeneration includes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who gives us a new heart, and enables us live distinct, holy lives, full of the power of Christ.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. ~ 1 John 2:1-2
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:17
We believe that God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in Him.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. ~ Ephesians 1:3-8
We believe that God calls all men to make disciples of all nations. It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ to love their neighbor as themselves and to care for the less fortunate.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20
We long to be an advocate for all orphans, worldwide, and to be a catalyst for awakening the body of Christ around the world to action in making disciples and caring for the orphans and widows.
O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear, to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed. ~ Psalm 10:17-18
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. ~ James 1:27
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. ~ John 14:18
“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” ~ Psalm 82:3-4
